The Dottie Hat is the perfect hat knitting pattern to transition into Spring. Here in the Midwest, we are still seeing snow in mid-May, so it’s not far fetched that a breathable lace knit hat might last into June. Honestly, as long as I’ve got a hat on my needles I’m not that depressed about it.
The Dottie Hat is a simple hat knitting pattern with a 6 round repeating pattern that is easy enough to follow while you watch T.V. but challenging enough to keep you interested. You’ll need DK weight yarn, size 6 & circular needles, as well as size 7 double pointed needles for decreasing.
