Hey there! Are you excited to break out your chunky yarns? I know I am! That’s why I’ve decided to hold the first Arborista Cowl Knit Along! This is a fun and fast knit with a little bit of lace, and a lot of warmth.
What will you knit yours in? I can pictures this cowl in beautiful green, mustard yellow, maybe a maroon? And then there’s always the neutrals- anything looks great in a neutral!
I hope you’l join me for the Arborista Cowl KAL.
It starts today, but you can join in anytime between now (Sep. 24th) and October 14th! I’ve discounted the pattern from $6.00 to $4.00 in the pattern shop. The discount will be available until Oct. 14th for anyone who wants to join in on this KAL!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
US 10½ – 6.5 mm
Bulky / 12 ply yarn
4 stitches and 6 rows = 1 inch in stockinette
380 – 400 yards (347 – 366 m)
And don’t forget to post your beauties here on Ravelry in the projects section!
I am so excited to share my latest pattern with you! Some of you may have seen a little preview on Instagram, and it’s finally here and ready to put on your needles! The Arborista Cowl features an alternating pattern of lacy leaves, and contrasting solid ribbing for a truly eye-catching effect.
I wanted a lace pattern, but I also wanted a break in between where I could watch TV. and knit this infinity scarf. (You see where my priorities lie!) I wanted something that captures the spirit of fall (is that too corny?) and something that is truly fashion forward and unique. I think this infinity scarf achieves all of these things- and the pattern is so much simpler that you would imagine!
Gauge: 4 sts. & 6 rows = 1″ in stockinette (though since this is an infinity scarf, gauge isn’t terribly important).
Cast on today, and don’t forget to show me your amazing projects on Ravelry! I can’t wait to see this cowl knitted up in every color! As always, if you want to re-sell anything you make from my patterns, you are 100% welcome to! Thanks for supporting an independent designer!
