Lately I’ve been into discovering cool new things on the internet. Ok, well not so much lately, but more like since I discovered the internet in ’94. It’s bad- I could spend all day online looking at neat things you guys. I’ve been crushing on a lot of shops that I’ve discovered, that I bet you never knew existed. So I decided to bring you a new series on the blog called Shop Crush.
I’ll be discovering new shops that I’ve never heard of before, and bringing you a curated list of all the fun things I find (if you don’t have all day to spend online looking at pretty things, this will be your go-to list of coolness!)
This week’s shop crush is Terrain. Oh-my-gosh you guys. I’ve never seen so much cool stuff come from one website, since maybe Anthropologie.
Here are some things from Terrain that I’ve been swooning over.
Left Petrified Wood Serving Trays / Top Right Twig Flatware / Bottom Right Wicker Bar Cart
Forest Glade Chandelier
Wildflower Series Rectangle Platter
Top Left Brass Molding Specimen Frame / Top Right Asparagus Condiment Spoons
Bottom Left Blackberry Absinthe Tumbler Candle / Bottom Right Ruffled Marble Bowl
It feels so good to be back home! We just finished decorating our house when we left for Belize. Decorating our house was one of the most fun things I’ve ever done (and I don’t think I’ll ever be done). Lately I’ve been eyeing anything gold. I don’t want to Trump my place out or anything, but I think a few gold accents scattered throughout the house really adds a pop of visual interest!
Happy Thursday! (Does anybody say that? No? Well I’m starting it.)
I’m also starting a new series here on the blog where I share things that I love. Why? Because well, sometimes I stray from writing knitting patterns and find other cool things on the internet that I want to share! Currently, I’m obsessed with gemstones and textiles.
I used to make and sell jewelry on Etsy, and I’ve got a huge stash of un-used beautiful gemstones that haven’t been touched in years. We’re talking sapphires, pearls, emeralds, rubies, and just, oh my gosh I want to make jewelry! Lately I’ve been dreaming of learning how to weave so that I could incorporate my love of fiber, and my love of gemstones. But until I get around to it, here are some of the pieces I’ve been swooning over!
PS. We’re in Belize right now planning our wedding (oh- did I mention I got engaged?!) but when I get back, I WILL be buying a loom and sharing my experiences on Instagram, so follow along- it’ll probably be hilarious.
