Baskin pattern by Rhiannon McCulloch

I’m in love with this pattern by Rhiannon McCulloch and after browsing through her designs- it’s not the only thing I was drooling over…
“The shawlette is an elongated crescent shape and knit from the top down, starting with 3 stitches and ending with just over 300. Zig zags grow in size as they reach the hem and are tipped with a triple picot bind off. It’s knit with a single skein of Superstar, so if you wanted to try out this delicious yarn, it could be a good project for you.

Design Your Own Crescent Shawl Knitting Pattern

This shawl is my most popular pattern- and it’s no mystery why. It’s a pattern that puts you in the designer’s seat (without having to do all the math). You choose where to place your stripes and watch your short row shawl become a one of a kind work of art!

New & Notable

New & Notable is a new series where I will be showcasing my favorite new patterns of the week! This week I was inspired by soft grays, blues, and creams. Probably something to do with the beautiful thunderstorms we’ve been having!

Enjoy!

On My Needles

I’m working on 2 new and exciting projects right now, and I can’t wait to get them done & photographed to share with you! I’ve really been inspired by stockinette stitch, summer shawls, and stripes. Here’s a sneak preview of what I’m working on: 1 free pattern, and 1 for sale.
