I’m loving this triangle crochet stitch! I wanted a light scarf for these cool May- and probably June- days. Damn Ohio! I was lucky enough to get out with my photographer friend Carrie for some pro- photos that turned out absolutely dreamy! You can check out Carrie’s site here. I used worsted weight yarn, and a size US I9 (5.5mm) hook. But you can do this pattern in any multiple of 4+2 stitches, so feel free to use any weight yarn you like!

  1. The pattern is not the same like the picture of the scarf! !

  3. Hi, I will test out the pattern again. Some are saying it's not as lacey as the photo. I just re-checked the pattern and everything here is written correctly. I might be a looser crocheter than most.

  4. I'm making this with a wheat color in Red Heart's Soft yarn. It's looking nice, but I think it would be better in a finer yarn…even a nice soft cotton for spring. I really
    Ike this pattern. Thank You!

  5. Tammy Wolfe says:

I made this into a cowl and it is crazy beautiful! Although it is not as loose as the scarf, pictured, I already knew that I was a tight crocheter. Just a gorgeous stitch pattern, than you for sharing it!

  6. Teresa Joiner says:

im trying this pattern and for some reason as im going along the ends are getting wider. I also have 7 triangles instead of 6. Im not sure what im doing wrong but any ideas?

  7. In working this up, when I keep on with rows 3 and 4 I am going to gain a triangle each row. What am I doing wrong? Thank you

  8. I have made this twice, each time using Loops and Threads Payette and Queensland Collection Uluru held together. I am about to start my third using this combo and have also made a matching slouchy hat with this triangle pattern. I like this pattern a lot because it moves fast but can be dressed up.
